U.S. Representative Melanie Stansbury, who has served New Mexico’s 1st congressional district since winning the seat in a 2021 special election, shared updates and commentary on recent district activities and national issues through a series of posts on her official X (formerly Twitter) account.

Stansbury was first elected to Congress in 2021 after defeating Mark Moores with 60.4% of the vote. She secured re-election in subsequent cycles—winning against Michelle Garcia Holmes in 2022 with 55.8% of votes cast and against Steve Jones in 2024 with 56.4%.
