U.S. Representative Melanie Stansbury, who has secured multiple electoral victories in New Mexico’s congressional races, recently highlighted key legislative achievements and community initiatives through a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter).

On August 24, 2025, Stansbury reflected on the passage of the Inflation Reduction Act, stating, “Just three years ago, we passed the largest climate and clean energy bill in American history with the Inflation Reduction Act. Through this bill—utilities have invested millions in modernizing our electric grid, lowering energy costs, and spurring a clean energy and”.

Later that same day, she emphasized her pride in Albuquerque after attending a local event: “Albuquerque is more than just a place where we live. It is a part of who we are. And, we are fiercely proud of our city! It was such an honor to join @MayorKeller, the ABQ City Council, and local leaders last night for the State of the City. From investments in housing,”.

Continuing her focus on state leadership and investment, Stansbury posted on August 25: “In countless ways—New Mexico is leading the way! This week, we are launching a new series on all the ways New Mexico is leading the way in transformational investments and policies for our communities. Today, we start with education and investments in our young people—which are”.

Stansbury’s recent comments come as she continues to serve following several successful election campaigns. In 2024, she defeated Steve Jones with 56.4% of the vote; in 2022 she won against Michelle Garcia Holmes with 55.8%; and in 2021 she prevailed over Mark Moores with 60.4%. These results reflect her sustained support among constituents across consecutive election cycles.
