U.S. Representative Melanie Stansbury shared updates on her recent activities and upcoming events through a series of posts on August 4, 2025. Stansbury highlighted her visit to the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center (IPCC), extended birthday wishes to former President Barack Obama, and announced several public forums scheduled for the week.

This week, we visited IPCC’s new Entrepreneur Complex to see how this state-of-the-art facility is helping to create opportunity and change”.

Your leadership inspired an entire generation to believe in the power of hope, justice, and the promise of democracy. You’ve left a lasting legacy that continues to guide us every single day, and I am honored to have been a small part of”.

Melanie Stansbury has represented New Mexico’s 1st congressional district since winning her seat in multiple elections. In 2024 she defeated Steve Jones with 56.4% of the vote; prior victories include defeating Michelle Garcia Holmes in 2022 with 55.8% and Mark Moores in 2021 with over 60% support.
