The Environmental Planning Commission has announced the finalization of an update to its Rules of Practice and Procedure. The adoption process followed a public notice posted on July 2, 2025, on both the Committee’s website and the City Clerk’s rulemaking website, as per §2-15-1, et seq, ROA 1994.

A public rulemaking hearing was conducted on Zoom on July 17, 2025, at 8:40 am. The updated rules are set to become effective five days following this hearing and upon the signature of the Chair.

The authority for these rules is derived from §2-6-1, ROA 1994 Article 6: Public Boards, Commissions, and Committees; §14-13-3-1, ROA 1994 Article 13: Planning; Goals and Objectives; and the Integrated Development Ordinance §14-16-6-4(L)(2).
